On Friday, May 22, 2026, Greenpill Nigeria joined PizzaDAO's Global Pizza Party with a gathering in Awka, Anambra State. The event, listed on RSV.Pizza, ran from 1:00 to 6:00 PM, with hosts including Amio, PizzaDAO, Own The Doge, ENS and World Pizza Champions. Bitcoin Anambra, Greenpill Nigeria and PizzaDAO were the key partners.
According to the event recap, 136 people RSVPed online and 145 signed in on site. Participants included members of TAS Hub UNIZIK, Anambra Techies, the Anambra Web3 Conference and the Anambra Startup Network. Over pizza, people networked and talked about blockchain, Bitcoin and community development, and community members could also join online.
It was the third time Amio has hosted a Global Pizza Party in Anambra. In Greenpill Nigeria's report to the Greenpill Fund for Regenerative Gatherings, the chapter wrote that relaxed, experiential events like this one build strong relationships across the local Web3 and public goods community.
